Terms and Conditions
On Payday your Childcare Voucher Solutions Voucher will be sent direct to your home address or email by e-voucher. The value of the vouchers sent will be equal to the amount you have chosen to take from your salary. Your ChildcareVoucher Solutions Voucher can then be used as payment for your childcare costs. Your childcare provider is then able to redeem the voucher through Childcare Voucher Solutions.

The value of your childcare vouchers should remain the same each month unless a significant reduction/change is required due to a change of circumstances. The employee can temporarily opt out of the scheme if they experience an unexpected lifestyle change such as the following:

Pregnancy
Redundancy
Death of a child/partner
Redundancy of a partner
Leaving the company Change in working hours
However, the employee may then re-join the scheme within the same financial year.

If, however, the employee decides to opt out of the scheme of their own accord, then the employee will not be eligible to re-join within the same financial year.

Please note, employees participating in the scheme who become pregnant and ultimately due to take Maternity leave, are advised to opt out as soon as possible before the Maternity leave commences as continuing to order vouchers may affect your Maternity pay entitlement. Statutory Maternity pay is calculated on the salary earned in the 15 weeks prior to Maternity Leave - if Childcare Vouchers were taken during this period, they would not be considered to be part of salary, hence lowering the Maternity pay that you may be eligible for. This would also apply to Statutory Sick Pay and Statutory Redundancy Pay. Please see your internal Childcare Vouchers Policy for further details on how benefits may be affected.

It is hereby agreed:
"Original Monthly Salary" means the monthly salary of the employee on assumption that the employee's terms and conditions had not been varied by this agreement or any similar agreement.

By this agreement, the employee and the employer agree to vary the Terms. As consequence of entering into this agreement the employee will be entitled to receive the Adjusted Monthly Salary and Childcare Vouchers Value.

The employee and the employer acknowledge that this Agreement constitutes a notice of a variation to the Terms for the Variation Term in accordance with the provisions of section 4 of the Employment Rights Act 1996. The employee and employer agree to vary their Terms as follows: The employee will cease to be entitled to the original Monthly Salary. The employee will be entitled to receive the Adjusted Monthly Salary and Childcare Vouchers.

Variation Term
The Variation Term for these variations of the terms shall commence on the first available day (taking into account Employer procedures regarding Payroll cut-off etc) and shall expire on the last day of the current scheme year.

Responsibility
The employee confirms that s/he:

Is the parent or legal guardian of the child(ren) in respect of whom the Childcare Vouchers will be used to provide childcare facilities.

Is responsible for selecting the individual or institution that will provide such facilities, and ensuring that they are registered.

PLEASE NOTE- BY LAW CHILDCARE VOUCHERS CAN ONLY BE PAID TO REGISTERED AND APPROVED CHILDCARE PROVIDERS TO QUALIFY FOR TAX AND NATIONAL INSURANCE SAVINGS.

(The maximum you may opt to take will be £55 per week - £243 if you are paid monthly)
